[16-09-2026]: Maison Sia has partnered with Aadivasi Welfare Foundation (AWF) to support the plantation of 5,000 trees at the foothills of Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary in Eastern India, connecting its customers with an initiative focused on ecological restoration, biodiversity and community livelihoods.
One of eastern India’s significant forest and wildlife ecosystems, the Dalma landscape is known for its elephant population and provides important habitat and movement routes for a range of species. Its forests, agricultural land and villages form a connected ecosystem where wildlife and local communities coexist.

Restoring degraded land and increasing tree cover can strengthen this landscape while supporting improved soil health, climate resilience and local livelihoods. Through its community-led afforestation programme, AWF will implement the plantation of 5,000 trees in the region.
“We spend so much time thinking about what we bring into our homes and leave behind for our families, but we must also consider what we leave outside those homes. In a world of fast‑moving technology and endless screen time, the deepest stimulation remains nature itself. Oxygen, water, and trees are our ultimate treasures — the foundation of life and serenity. By dedicating one tree to every Maison Sia purchase, we invite our customers to grow something beyond us: a legacy of sustainability that nurtures Mother Earth and makes a difference for generations to come.” – Vratika Gupta, founder and CEO of Maison Sia.

Turning every purchase into a living contribution
Maison Sia will dedicate one tree to every customer purchase, with customers receiving a personalised digital ImpactCertificate. This gives customers a tangible connection to the initiative while enabling Maison Sia to share its wider ecological and social impact.
A Section 8 not-for-profit organisation and an official Actor of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, Aadivasi Welfare Foundation has planted over 8 million trees across India through community-led afforestation and ecosystem restoration programmes.
AWF also works with Aadivasi.org, India’s first ImpactCommerce platform, which creates market linkages for products made by rural and tribal communities. This work complements AWF’s environmental programmes by connecting ecosystem restoration with opportunities for community livelihoods.

"Environmental initiatives become more meaningful when people can see where the impact is happening and understand the communities and landscapes behind it," said Dr. Bikrant Tiwary, Advisor to AWF. "Through this partnership, Maison Sia is creating a direct connection between its customers and a landscape that is important for both people and wildlife."
The partnership reflects Maison Sia’s approach to making sustainability more tangible by linking individual customer actions with a larger environmental cause. Through the plantation of 5,000 trees, Maison Sia and its customers will contribute to a healthier and more resilient Dalma landscape.
Organisations interested in supporting community-led afforestation and ecosystem restoration initiatives can connect with AWF to explore potential partnerships.
